Holly Adam, Nebraska’s Assistant Athletic Director for Tickets, said Wednesday that order forms for Husker postseason football games this season are due Friday, Nov. 16, at 5 p.m. “We’ve tried to make the process as easy and as streamlined as possible,” Adam said, pointing out that in years past, postseason ticket forms were mailed only to Huskers Athletic Fund donors at all levels, whether they had season football tickets or not.
This year, in an effort to reach more fans, “We offered the order form to all football season ticket holders and donors,” Adam said. The form was sent via email last Friday, and accounts without an email address were sent a paper form that included Friday’s deadline on the form. Adam encourages fans to take advantage of priority status because any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public shortly after Nebraska qualifies for postseason play.
Seating for such events, which include the Big Ten Championship in Indianapolis, plus a variety of postseason bowl opportunities, will be based on donor priority points. “Requests from non-donor season ticketholders will be selected based on the timing of the receipt of the order,” Adam said, adding that the Athletic Department will use its best judgment to determine allocations after all donor and season ticketholder accounts have been filled.
According to Adam, credit cards are required to reserve postseason seats, but they will not be charged until postseason games are finalized. Fans can log on here to order postseason tickets online. Adam said donors and season ticketholders should use account numbers and passwords or pin numbers to order online. Fans that do not know those numbers are asked to check the emails they received explaining the ordering process.
