Randy York started covering Nebraska Athletics in 1968 when he was sports editor of the Daily Nebraskan. He worked 15 years covering the Huskers for the Lincoln Journal-Star and spent 22 years working for Sprint, managing the corporate magazine and the company's annual report in Kansas City. In 2007, he returned to Nebraska and is the senior writer and director of creative services for the athletic department.
